Government also provide funding for individual projects to improve their visitor offer, in particular through the Discover England Fund and the Coastal Communities Fund. Portsmouth has recently received £1.75m of Coastal Communities Funding to revitalise its Victorian Arches in the Heart Battery and £50,000 of Coastal Revival Funding for the repair and refurbishment of the South Parade Pier.
