I have also discussed the work of the UN Peacekeeping Mission, MINURSO, and the political process with the UN Secretary-General's Personal Envoy for Western Sahara, former German President Horst Koehler. The UK has also consistently raised its concerns at the Ceasefire Task Force meeting of the International Syria Support Group, attended by the Office of the Special Envoy for Syria. The Foreign Secretary made a statement in the House of Commons on 26 February regarding the tragic situation in Eastern Ghouta. The UK has highlighted our concern about the impact on the activities of UNRWA that any unexpected reductions or delays in predicted donor disbursements might have. The United States has consistently been UNRWA’s largest single donor. My officials are working closely with UNRWA and donors on how best to ensure continuity of essential services to Palestinian refugees at this time. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/01/2018 answer text We regularly raise our concerns about the rights to freedom of expression, association and assembly with the Egyptian authorities; these rights are essential to improving the protection of Freedom of Religion or Belief in Egypt. The Egyptian constitution contains protections for Freedom of Religious Belief and it is important that these rights are respected. In particular, we welcome President Sisi's consistent calls for peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims in Egypt. The UK has also been working with al-Azhar University in Egypt for over ten years to help develop a new generation of religious leaders who can build dialogue across different cultures and religions, and confront extremism. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/12/2017 answer text <p>The UK is the largest donor to Gavi, the global vaccine alliance that provides developing countries with pneumococcol to vaccinate against pneumonia. 109 million children were vaccinated between 2010 and 2016, thanks to Gavi’s support, saving an estimated 762,000 lives.</p><p>DFID supports Gavi’s Pneumococcol Advanced Market commitment which reduces costs, enabling 58 countries to introduce vaccinations.
