EIBSS provides a grant of up to £900 a year for beneficiaries and family members for counselling and National Institute for Health and Care Excellence approved talking therapies. This offer was expanded in August 2022 to enable beneficiaries to access funding for ongoing or longer-term treatment. Further information is available at the following link:</p><p><a href="https://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/talking-therapy-support" target="_blank">https://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/talking-therapy-support</a>.</p><p>A bespoke psychological support service for infected blood victims and their families, commissioned by NHS England, is currently being developed and is planned to go live in early summer 2024. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/12/2022 answer text <p>No specific assessment has been made.</p><p>The Government’s national maternity safety ambition aims to halve the 2010 rates of stillbirths, neonatal and maternal deaths and brain injuries in babies occurring during or soon after birth, by 2025. Since 2010, the stillbirth rate has reduced 19.3%, the neonatal mortality rate for babies born over the 24-week gestational age of viability has reduced by 36%, and the proportion of babies born preterm has reduced from 8% in 2017 to 7.5% in 2020.</p><p>We have introduced targeted interventions to accelerate progress, such as the Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle and the Brain Injury Reduction Programme. NHS England has also invested £127 million in National Health Service maternity workforce and improving neonatal care. This is in addition to the £95 million investment made in 2021 to fund the establishment of a further 1,200 midwifery and 100 consultant obstetrician posts. NHS England and Health Education England are working with local integrated care systems, including the Humber, Coast and Vale Integrated Care System, to confirm plans for service models, supply, retention and recruitment until 2024.</p><p>NHS England continues to support local systems, including the Humber, Coast and Vale Integrated Care System, to develop tailored health and wellbeing offers to meet the needs of the local mental health workforce. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/11/2022 answer text <p>In March 2022, Parliament voted in favour of making the temporary approval allowing home-use of both pills for early medical abortions a permanent measure for women and girls in England and Wales. The Abortion Act 1967 does not set a legal age limit for access to early medical abortion via the telemedicine pathway. The Department continues to work with NHS England, the Care Quality Commission and abortion providers to ensure that children and young people have timely access to all abortion services, including telemedicine abortion services.</p><p>While no recent assessment has been made, the Department commissioned the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health to develop independent safeguarding guidance for children and young people under 18 years old accessing early medical abortion services, which was published in August 2022.
