answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/07/2019 answer text <p>On 16 May 2019, I wrote to all higher education institutions to urge them to consider adopting the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism. The panel published a number of analytical annexes with their report, including the estimated impacts of some of their recommendations. The report and annexes can be accessed here: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/post-18-review-of-education-and-funding-independent-panel-report" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/post-18-review-of-education-and-funding-independent-panel-report</a>.</p><p> </p><p>The government has not yet taken decisions with regards to the recommendations put forward by the independent panel. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/01/2019 answer text <p>The department is aware that students, staff and providers are concerned about what EU Exit means for study and collaboration opportunities. To help give certainty, in July 2018, the department announced guarantees on student finance for EU nationals.</p><p>These guarantees are not altered if the UK leaves the EU without a deal. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/01/2019 answer text <p>The Office for National Statistics (ONS) announced a new treatment of student loans in the public sector finances and national accounts on 17 December 2018. The decision by the ONS relates to the recording of student loans in the national accounts and public sector finances. Prior to the announcement of the ONS review, the government had already launched the Review of Post-18 Education and Funding in which, amongst other features of the system, funding is being considered.</p><p> </p><p>The review is considering how to ensure that the education system for those aged 18 years and over is accessible to all, is supported by a funding system that provides value for money and works for students and taxpayers.
