This is a considerable reduction on regional Cabinet meetings under the previous administration, which cost between £50,000 and £100,000. Departments and agencies will also have incurred costs in terms of travel, staff time and other support. Further reductions are planned until 2016, to a total of 3 occupied properties, with a further £2m annual saving.</p><p>The State of the Estate Report (SofTE) provides annual progress updates on our work improving the efficiency of the Government’s Civil Estate. The Government estate is currently 2 million sq. m smaller since January 2010. The review has commenced and is expected to conclude by the end of the year. The Home Office is leading the review supported by the Cabinet Office, Department for International Development, the Attorney General’s Office, Crown Prosecution Service, Serious Fraud Office and National Crime Agency. Ministers will consider the recommendations in due course.</p><p>The Government has established a ministerial group on anti-corruption, attended by ministers and officials from relevant departments and agencies. Its work continues and is supported by officials in the Cabinet Office as well as the Home Office which leads on the co-ordination of domestic and international anti-corruption work across departments.
