answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/01/2019 answer text <p>The De Minimis Assessment which accompanied the society lotteries reform consultation outlined the assessments made of the benefits to good causes of the proposals to increase sales and prize limits, including increasing the per draw prize limit to £1 million (link: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/720931/society_lottery_dma_pdf_final.pdf).</p><p> </p><p>The assessment shows that increasing these limits in line with the Government’s preferred options is likely to increase the amount of money charities and others can raise for the good causes they support. We are not in a position to quantify this at present, as we do not know how many large society lotteries will increase their sales and prize limits, or change their business models to account for the changes being proposed.</p><p> </p><p>I am currently considering the views expressed in the consultation, from meeting with stakeholders and members, including those in favour and those against these reforms, and I hope to respond in the first half of the year. The Strategy acknowledged the importance of the campaigning and advocacy role of civil society. Our resources are currently focused on other priorities from the Civil Society Strategy and on preparing for EU exit. This is an important recommendation in the Strategy and one that we would hope to turn our attention to later this year.</p><p> </p><p>DCMS is already leading the way in enabling effective youth participation in national policy making and the department is pioneering approaches which can be adopted across government. These include a Civil Society Youth Steering Group to oversee the development and implementation of policies affecting young people in the Civil Society Strategy; a national Young Commissioners and Inspectors Group to involve young people directly and meaningfully in the commissioning, monitoring and evaluation of national programmes affecting young people; exploring a new digital solution to enable large numbers of young people to play a role in consultations and programme design across the government. We are currently promoting the concept of Citizen Commissioners to stakeholders at appropriate meetings and events. We have held discussions with those currently running Citizen Commissioner schemes to understand content options for possible guidance. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/01/2019 answer text <p>a) Between 2017-2018, Sport England invested £844,869 into 20 projects, including the refurbishment and development of skateparks and related facilities. Full details of these investments can be found on Sport England’s website.</p><p>(b) (i) UK Sport has allocated up to £166,825 from the innovative Aspiration Fund to support the sport’s route to the Tokyo Olympics. The skateboarding investment award made through the Aspiration Fund has been allocated to the sport pending identification of the best funding delivery model. This award is dependent upon the sport satisfying UK Sport’s conditions of award.</p><p>(b) (ii) The £3 million Aspiration Fund announced by DCMS in October 2018 allows sports who do not currently receive full UK Sport funding to develop plans to help teams and athletes qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. UK Sport are providing ongoing guidance and support to all skateboarding parties as they aim to meet the conditions of UK Sport's Aspiration Fund award, announced in December 2018.
