<p>In the first instance, it will be for the appointed Administrators to investigate
the events leading up to the collapse of Citylink. The Administrators also have a
statutory obligation to report confidentially to The Insolvency Service about the
conduct of the directors. If misconduct is alleged the Secretary of State then has
a discretionary power to seek the disqualification of the directors where it is believed
to be in the public interest</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Insolvency Service
also has discretionary powers under the Companies Acts to conduct enquiries on behalf
of the Secretary of State where it appears that there has been misconduct in relation
to the affairs of any company, including those not subject to formal insolvency. Any
individual or organisation with evidence of misconduct should send full details of

and Skills has powers to use information arising from such enquiries, to seek the
