answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/07/2014 answer text <p>The Burmese government's endorsement of the Declaration of Commitment and attendance at the Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict in June 2014, is an important signal of committment to tackling this serious issue. However, we are absolutely clear that this is just one step towards that goal. We are already lobbying the Burmese government to follow up with concrete action to address sexual violence, including strengthening legislation and improving access to justice for survivors. Regarding the process in Rakhine and Kachin, I refer the honourable Member to the answer that I gave to the hon. Member for Belfast East (Naomi Long) on 26 June, Official Report, column 255W.
