In the meantime, we are working with Network Rail to identify how Access for All projects will be delivered and when. The decision about Access for All schemes will be made later this summer. A further £160m to extend the programme and deliver step-free access at an additional 68 stations. In addition, whenever infrastructure works are carried out at stations, they must comply with the relevant UK and EU accessibility standards. However, we understand that around 460 stations in the UK have step free access to and between all platforms.
