answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/12/2018 answer text <p>In 2002 the Ministry of Defence (MOD) assessed that the Bramley Training Area no longer poses an active risk to safety, this followed munitions clearing operations in 1987 (Operation APPLE) and 1995 (Operation CORNELIUS). However, it is not possible to provide 100% assurance that the site is entirely clear of unexploded ordinance and therefore a formal digging ban remains in place in specified areas. These events are community-led and can come in many different forms, from the national event through to events organised by councils, ex-Service organisations, community groups and schools. These events can be followed on Twitter using #SaluteOurForces.</p><p>The Ministry of Defence not only supports the National Event, which will be held next year in Salisbury on Saturday 29 June 2019, but also events throughout the United Kingdom. We invite local authorities and community organisations to consider hosting an event and to apply for funding from the Ministry of Defence on the dedicated Armed Forces Day website.</p><p>To date, no events in Northern Ireland have been registered. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/12/2018 answer text <p>The Ministry of Defence has no centrally-held record of any provision of office space to the Institute for Statecraft.</p><p>In Financial Years 2016-17 and 2017-18, the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust's Local Grants Programme awarded a total of £177,650 to 12 separate small projects run by the Shared Outcomes Programme, an initiative of the Institute for Statecraft which works with young people (aged 14 - 18) from minority communities in areas facing economic and social challenge and aims to increase participants' life opportunities and support them in fulfilling their potential. The Shared Outcomes projects enable young people to take part in challenging activities such as assault courses, night navigation exercises and camping while visiting an Army base, and other activities designed to improve community cohesion.
