The Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my right hon. Friend the Member for Runnymede and Weybridge (Mr Hammond), most recently raised the importance of reopening the Rafah crossing when he spoke with the Egyptian Foreign Minister on 14 January. We continue to raise this issue in our contacts with the Egyptian government.
more like this

Currently, we are working with European partners to further strengthen areas of operational and policy co-operation, to support information and international data sharing, to implement a common strategy to counter the threat from ‘foreign fighters’, and to counter radicalisation both within and outside the EU.
more like this

IAEA access to the site remains an important step in addressing the Agency’s concerns. We fully support the IAEA’s work on this crucial issue. A comprehensive agreement between the E3+3 and Iran remains the best way to ensure Iran’s nuclear programme is peaceful going forward.
more like this

All of the P5+1 sit on the Board and will be in attendance. The IAEA Director General’s reports update all members of the P5+1 on the status of Iran’s nuclear programme. The 7 November report confirms Iran’s adherence to the nuclear commitments agreed between the P5+1 and Iran under the JPoA. more like this
