answer text <p>The estate optimisation strategy &quot;A Better Defence Estate&quot; announced in November 2016 included the Department's intent to dispose of Stonehouse Barracks by 2023 and to reprovide for the Royal Marines units in either the Plymouth or Torpoint areas (HM Naval Base Devonport / HMS Raleigh).
