answer text <p>The duty of care arrangements that the Department has in place for people under the age of 18 provides them with a safe environment to work in. The Ministry of Defence provides guidance in the form of Joint Service Publications (JSP) to Commanding Officers concerning our duty of care responsibilities for risk assessments for people under the age of 18.</p><p>JSP 375 &quot;Management of Health and Safety in Defence&quot;, of which Part 2, Volume 1 Chapter 19 - &quot;Young Persons&quot;, defines the broad policy with reference to legal requirements regarding employment of young persons.</p><p>JSP 822 &quot;Defence Direction and Guidance for Training and Education&quot; instructs Commanding Officers of Phase 1 and 2 training schools to establish effective supervisory care regimes that are underpinned by risk assessments.</p><p>Both of these policy documents are in the public domain and can be found at:</p><p>https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/488834/20160101-375_2016_P2_Vol1_Chapter_19_V1-0_Young_Persons.pdf</p><p>https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/jsp-822-governance-and-management-of-defence-individual-training-education-and-skills</p>

answer text <p>Data on the outcomes of Royal Military Police investigations over the last ten years will take time to collate. Information relating to disciplinary action is currently <del class="ministerial">unlkown</del><ins class="ministerial">unavailable</ins>. I will write shortly to provide the data requested.</p><p>The Army does not tolerate unacceptable behaviour by any personnel, including staff and Junior Soldiers at the Army Foundation College, in any form. All allegations are treated very seriously and investigated. As part of our duty of care, instructors at the College will normally be suspended until an investigation has been carried out, or depending on the circumstances, they may be removed from post without prejudice and reassigned. As a result of the misconduct investigation and findings, the without prejudice removal will then be classified as blameworthy or non-blameworthy, and dealt with accordingly.</p> more like this
