The Central Authorities do not record the nationality of the applicant. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/01/2015 answer text <p /> <p>The Government is aware of the concerns raised by representatives of the research community about amendments to the proposed EU General Data Protection Regulation that could prevent health research involving personal data from taking place. These concerns centre on amendments to the proposed Regulation which have been agreed by the Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) committee of the European Parliament.</p><p> </p><p>Negotiations on the EU data protection framework are ongoing and the final text will be subject to the co-decision of the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament under the ordinary legislative procedure. However, negotiations have yet to reach the ‘trialogue’ stage as the Council of the EU has not yet agreed a general approach on the text.</p><p> </p><p>The Government’s view is that the ability of researchers to process personal data in the way that they are legitimately able to do so at present must be preserved. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/12/2014 answer text <p /> <p>Surviving manorial documents dating back to the 12<sup>th</sup> century are spread across a number of repositories and private owners, and digitisation would be a matter for the record owners. The National Archives holds a paper index (the Manorial Documents Register) which describes and locates these records and is available for the public to view in its reading rooms. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/12/2014 answer text <p>The UK already has a strong framework that protects human rights and protects against arbitrary arrest, as set out in the UK’s Mid Term Report under the Universal Periodic Review submitted in August 2014.</p><p> </p><p>The UK is a party to a number of United Nations human rights treaties. Before ratifying a treaty, the UK Government carries out an evaluation of the legislative and administrative changes that adherence would entail.</p><p> </p><p>The Ministry of Justice is currently co-ordinating an evaluation of the United Nations International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance (CPED).
