This data is not available until the claims have been reviewed and HMRC is able to confirm how much payment is due.

We do not calculate average claim amounts for those claims which were not processed within 28 days, as any figures could be misleading. They would not be representative of the range in size and complexity of claims we receive, nor demonstrate the range of reasons why these claims are not paid within 28 days. Such reasons range from simple administrative issues such as missing payment details, to more complex issues requiring the claim to be reviewed in more detail before payment can be released.
more like this

The issue was swiftly fixed and GVMS continues to work well.

We are aware that fewer than 15 vehicles were directed to attend Inland Border Facilities, due to traders’ customs declarations requiring further action following updates to the Customs Declaration Service. answer text
As part of the ongoing R&D tax reliefs review, the Government is reforming the R&D tax reliefs to ensure taxpayer’s money is spent as effectively as possible, to improve the competitiveness of the RDEC scheme, and is a step towards a simplified, single RDEC-like scheme for all.

The Treasury has estimated the changes will also help to support fiscal sustainability by raising revenue and reducing fraud and error, without materially changing the levels of R&D expenditure over the forecast period.
