The panel and committee feature members from across the legal community, including Citizens Advice.</p><p>Each year the Attorney and I take part in National Pro Bono week. We attend and support pro bono events across the country, to encourage the excellent work being done by the pro bono community. Nor is it possible to identify whether the defendant was a corporate body. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/06/2018 answer text <p>With regard to local programmes of work, CPS North East is working closely with Newcastle Crown Court and other partners within the Criminal Justice System to improve the experience of victims and witnesses when attending court and to ensure that the commitments to witness care set out in the Victim’s Code and the Witness Charter are properly delivered.</p><p>In line with the broader recommendations made, the CPS will be considering its guidance on the involvement of the Service with the changing local safeguarding arrangements. While the CPS has no prescribed statutory obligations under the new arrangements, they will ensure that prosecutors are aware of the changes and we will continue to make a positive contribution. In September 2016, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) published its first ever public statement recognising the needs and experiences of male victims of offences including rape, domestic abuse, harassment, and stalking and child sexual abuse. In summer 2018, they will hold another forum with groups representing the interests of male victims to further explore the issues they face in relation to these offences.
