<p>Yes. The UK faces complex and challenging international and domestic security threats, which is why we have committed to spending 2% of our GDP on defence every year of this decade.</p><p>Before this commitment the defence budget (in 2014-15) was £34.4 billion and it will rise to almost £40 billion by 2021.</p>
