<p>As I stated in the House on 9 October 2017 (Official Report, Column 77), we will issue a consultation on the effectiveness of powers to deal with unauthorised development and encampments. We are finalising the document with the Home Office and Ministry of Justice, and we will publish the consultation shortly.</p>
