answer text <p>The Immigration Enforcement National Command and Control Unit (IE NCCU) is the IE 24/7 point of contact for all UK Police Forces. The unit is staffed by Immigration Officers who provide advice on the immigration status of individuals. When appropriate the team initiate immigration enforcement action, safeguard vulnerable individuals, refer cases to and signpost Police partners to other Home Office Teams. answer text <p>The Government is absolutely committed to removing Foreign National Offenders from the UK, and any foreign national who comes to our country and abuses our hospitality by breaking the law should be in no doubt of our determination to deport them.</p><p>Since 2010, we have removed almost 50,000 Foreign National Offenders from our prisons, immigration removal centres and the community, with more than 5,000 removed in 2018/19.</p><p>Providing the information requested would require a manual check of individual records which could only be done at disproportionate cost.</p><p>The Home Office does publish quarterly statistics on the numbers of Foreign Nationals removed from the UK.
