answer text <p>The Department for International Trade (DIT) has allocated the following budget in 2022-23 financial year:</p><p>Scotland: £1,358,373;</p><p>Wales: £918,950;</p><p>Northern Ireland: £756,145; and</p><p>Darlington: this is a DIT Office location but we do not have an allocated budget for Darlington as a trade and investment hub.</p><p> </p><p>As of 31st May 2022, DIT employed:</p><p>Scotland: 29 staff including staff based in the regional offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow;</p><p>Wales:23 staff;</p><p>Northern Ireland: 9 staff; and</p><p>Darlington: 58 staff.</p><p> </p><p>These figures do not include UK Export Finance staff, Trade Remedies Authority Staff, and those who are on loan or secondment out of DIT, or on unpaid special leave or career break.</p> more like this

answer text <p>There is nothing in the Australia agreement that will lower or compromise the UK’s high food, animal welfare or environment standards. Imports will still have to meet the same respective UK and Australian food safety and biosecurity standards.</p><p>We have secured ground-breaking provisions on Animal Welfare with Australia, including a standalone Animal Welfare chapter. This includes a non-regression and non-derogation clause, which is a first in any FTA.</p><p>The Department for International Trade publishes impact assessments that are conducted after negotiations have concluded.
