answer text <p>The Cabinet Office has a retirement policy on how employees should prepare for<br>retirement. It also provides pensions awareness sessions, supported by a member help<br>centre which is run by MyCSP, and plans to run financial education sessions in November<br>2019</p><p>The Cabinet Office wellbeing action plan enables support for all staff, including those near<br>retirement. A number of key initiatives which support people transitioning to retirement<br>include: running leadership wellbeing training for all Senior Civil Servants, updating line<br>manager training to ensure wellbeing is included in all conversations, embedding wellbeing<br>into the Senior Civil Service leadership objective and including wellbeing in performance<br>management monthly conversation tools</p><p>There are a number of support services available in Cabinet Office that provide support or<br>advice to all employees, and would be of benefit to those nearing retirement. These<br>include the Cabinet Office alumni network, the Cabinet Office listening service and the<br>employee assistance programme</p><p>Civil Service Learning also offers learning opportunities for all Civil Servants planning for<br>retirement, including a day-long workshop on this subject.</p>

answer text <p>The Government committed in the 2018 Government Estates Strategy to locate more Civil<br>Service roles into the regions and nations of the United Kingdom. To deliver on this<br>commitment, the Cabinet Office is co-ordinating such activity under the Places for Growth<br>programme. This programme will take a place-based approach to relocating roles that<br>ensures we have the skills and capacity in the right places to enable organisations and<br>cities to flourish</p><p>The Places for Growth team have been engaging with local stakeholders across the UK,<br>including in Scotland, to build this nationwide picture of skills and specialisms. This informs<br>the programme’s support of departmental estates and workforce planning for the<br>forthcoming Spending Review, to ensure alignment with Places for Growth principles</p><p>Departments will be required to relocate roles, including senior roles.</p><p>The Civil Service workforce survey (2018) shows that the size of the Civil Service in<br>Scotland is 43,120, (including 17,340 in the Scottish Government).</p>

answer text <p>Cabinet Office are taking the issue of Bullying and Harassment seriously, and have developed a Bullying, Harassment and Discrimination Action plan to reduce the incidence of these behaviours within the Cabinet Office.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Cabinet Office does not hold central records covering all cases of Bullying and Harassment. answer text <p>The Public Procurement Regulations require public sector buyers to pay their suppliers<br>within 30 days and require these payment terms to be passed down the supply chain</p><p>Where this is not happening, businesses are encouraged to raise this with the Public<br>Procurement Review Service, who will investigate. The Public Procurement Review Service<br>will also proactively ensure that 30-day payment terms are being passed down the supply<br>chain by carrying out spot checks on contracting authorities</p><p>From September, suppliers who do not pay their subcontractors on time may face exclusion<br>from winning government contracts.</p> more like this
