In line with the cross-Government action following the tragic Grenfell Tower fire, the Department has written to all Higher Education Funding Councils For England (HEFCE)-funded Higher Education Institutions and Alternative Providers of Higher Education to identify any student accommodation buildings that may require further investigation. We have requested that institutions flag any concerns immediately.
