answer text <p>The Youth Offer launched on the 20 September 2020 and provides support for 16–24-year-olds who are on Universal Credit to help them move into employment. It includes three elements:</p><p> </p><ul><li>The Youth Employment Programme, which provides young people dedicated intensive Work Coach support in finding &amp; applying for jobs, with additional assistance available for those who have recently begun their Universal Credit claim.</li><li>Youth Hubs, which bring together in one location DWP services with local support provided by youth experts. answer text <p>The taper rates in Universal Credit (UC) and Housing Benefit (HB) are different and the Department acknowledges the challenge that this creates for those moving into work whilst living in Temporary Accommodation - when transitioning between receiving UC and HB to receiving HB only as their earnings increase.</p><p> </p><p>Officials continue to develop policy and delivery options to improve the customer experience for those reliant on Housing Benefit. answer text <p>When referrals to the Work and Health Programme (WHP) end in September and before Universal Support begins its rollout from Autumn 2024 there will still be services available for disabled people and those with health conditions who have employment support needs. These include Employment Advisors in NHS Talking Therapies and the Individual Placement and Support in Primary Care (IPSPC) programme for disabled people and those with mild to moderate mental and physical health conditions.</p><p>It also includes, for example, the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) programme for people with drug and alcohol dependency and the Local Supported Employment (LSE) programme for people who are learning disabled, neurodivergent or Autistic as well as locally led employment support delivered through Jobcentres.</p> more like this
