answer text <p>In line with the EU VAT Directive, UK law treats vocational training as VAT exempt where it is provided by specific eligible bodies, including universities, schools and certain not-for-profit institutions. It is for HM Revenue &amp; Customs to determine on a case by case basis whether a body providing training for the Commercial Airline Pilot Standard Apprenticeship can qualify for the exemption under these rules.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Future customs arrangements will depend on the outcome of negotiations. The Government hopes for and expects a mutually beneficial outcome. The Government is working hard to ensure that all businesses, including ports and seafarers on the Solent, have the necessary support and guidance in place to be ready for future customs arrangements. To this end, the Government is engaging with businesses in every sector and region of the UK economy to assess the effect of EU Exit on them.</p><p> </p><p>The Government published Future Customs Arrangements: A Future Partnership Paper and the Customs Bill White Paper in 2017, which contain information to help businesses consider what plans they need to make.</p> more like this
