<p>The Civil Service Code requires civil servants to support the government of the day in developing and implementing its policies. This applies to all Government policies, including carrying out the decision to leave the European Union. The same requirement is set out in the Code of Conduct for members of the Diplomatic Service.</p><p> </p>
