answer text <p>Ahead of the 2017 General Election, a series of protective measures were put in place to mitigate or reduce risks to the UK’s democratic process. The Cabinet Office, with the National Cyber Security Centre, continues to monitor the threat to all UK democratic processes whether at a national, regional or local level.</p><p>All Government Departments, organisations and institutions have a role to play in protecting their data and preventing adversaries obtaining information they could misuse.</p> more like this
