answer text <p>Article 50 of the Treaty of the European Union states that the agreement between the leaving State and the EU will be concluded on behalf of the Union by the Council, after obtaining the consent of the European Parliament. This means the European Parliament shall vote on the withdrawal agreement reached between the UK and EU. It will decide by a majority of votes cast.</p> more like this
