<p>The National Cyber Security Centre and National Crime Agency are investigating
the recent cyber attack that affected NHS networks, as well as many others around
the world. A range of leads are being pursued as part of the ongoing investigations.</p><p>To
effectively tackle cyber threats, the Government launched the National Cyber Security
Strategy in November 2016. Supported by £1.9 billion of transformational investment,
the strategy sets out ambitious policies and capabilities to protect the UK in cyber
space.</p>
