answer text <p>We are currently reviewing the information we provide to women asylum applicants at the point of claim to ensure that they are aware of the external services available to them and of their rights in the asylum process, such as the right to request an interviewer and interpreter of a particular gender. In conjunction with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the Refugee Council and the Scottish Refugee Council, we will shortly begin a pilot to signpost women who may have been the victims of sexual violence to existing support services.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this
