answer text <p>Under the current Challenge on Dementia 2020 strategy, the Government’s commitment to spending £300 million on dementia research between 2015 and 2020 was met a year early, with £341 million spent by March 2019 via the Departments of Health and Social Care and Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. This included a £15 million research initiative announced in January 2019 on dementia prevention, care and technology, co-funded by the Economic and Social Research Funding Council and National Institute for Health Research.</p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this
