answer text <p>The Government has no plans to cut the Defence budget.</p><p> </p><p>Spending Review 2015 remains the basis of the government’s spending plans. We have the biggest defence budget in Europe and the fifth largest in the world. We are one of very few countries to not only meet, but exceed NATO’s 2 per spending target. Over the next three years, the Defence Budget is increasing by £1bn a year.</p><p> </p><p>Ministers will consider the conclusions of the National Security Capability Review in due course.</p> more like this
