answer text <p>The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) does not collect data showing the average time from receiving a referral to making a legal charging decision. Legal charging decisions are decisions to authorise a charge, to take no further action or recommend and out of court disposal.</p><p> </p><p>However, data is collected showing the average time from the first police referral to the CPS making the decision to authorise a charge. This data is published on the CPS website and on the CJS Delivery Dashboard and shows that during the calendar year 2021, it took on average 39 days from referral to charge.</p> more like this

answer text <p>A free school is a type of academy and is accountable through the same mechanisms as an academy, principally the funding agreement between the Secretary of State and the academy trust that operates the free school. Many free schools are part of a multi-academy trust (MAT). Free schools are delivering good quality places in areas where these are needed.</p><p>The value of academy trusts’ land and buildings recorded in the Education Funding Agency’s most recent annual report is £43.3bn.</p> more like this

In recent years we have funded five programmes that have in some way supported the creation of new places. answer text <p>Academies are independent organisations and hold reserves, both are working capital to manage day-to-day commitments, and to build funds for longer term planning, as they cannot borrow commercially.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The reserves held by academies are included in the Education Funding Agency’s published accounts for financial years 2012-13 and 2013-14. These reserves are shown in the Statement of Financial Position and are entitled the revaluation reserve and charitable fund. The Education Funding Agency does not have comparable figures for financial year 2011-12 and earlier years. At present, the figures for 2014-15 are not ready for publication. Costs of sites at the time of acquisition for individual free schools are published on gov.uk when a project's capital costs are no longer considered to be commercially sensitive i.e. when the construction contract has been signed.
