target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/family-court-statistics-quarterly</a>.</p><p>Orders
may be made for a limited duration or may be discharged subsequently by the court.
Information is not held centrally about the number of children currently subject to
a special guardianship order.</p>
