Details of this assessment can be found in Command Paper 8897 <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/326698/41670_Cm_8897_Accessible.pdf" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/326698/41670_Cm_8897_Accessible.pdf</a>), published on 3 July 2014. The Government has considered the potential impacts of the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice very carefully and believes it is in the best interests of the UK to opt back in to Council Decision 2002/348/JHA.</p><p>The measure provides an established and functioning network that reduces the safety risks to UK supporters travelling to overseas matches. If the UK did not seek to rejoin Council Decision 2002/348/JHA it would be significantly more difficult for UK law enforcement agencies to share information with other Member States. The lack of structure and organisation could lead to difficulty in identifying the correct law enforcement agencies in Member States, thus resulting in other Member States failing to act upon information the UK has sought to provide. As stated in Command Paper 8897, Ukraine and Russia are prime examples of non-EU countries in which the UK has had more difficulty in sharing information.<br><br>The Government believes that Council Decision 2002/348/JHA provides the best means by which to share information relating to football matches with an international dimension. answer text <p>Home Office targets for review of historical material are those set by the Public Records Acts as amended by the transition period for the reduction of the ’30 year rule’ to a ’20 year rule’ established in the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act 2010 and its enacting secondary legislation. For 2014, the statutory requirement is for records dated 1985 and 1986 to be transferred to The National Archives by the end of the calendar year. <br><br>The department reports its progress against the requirements of the transition period to The National Archive on a bi-annual basis, which is then published on The National Archive’s website:<br><br>http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/about/record-transfer-report.htm.<br><br>The last report was made in Spring 2014, the next is due this autumn. <br><br>The Home Office has a team of 10 staff engaged in review of its historical records.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>This Government is determined to stamp out the abhorrent crime of modern slavery. The Modern Slavery Bill will give law enforcement the tools to tackle modern slavery and enhance support and protection for victims. We will soon publish a comprehensive Modern Slavery Strategy setting out additional practical actions being undertaken.</p><p> </p><p>We will also be introducing a world-leading disclosure requirement to the Bill, which will require big businesses to publicly state each year what action they have taken to ensure their supply chains are slavery free.</p><p> </p> more like this
