Following commencement of provisions in the Children and Social Work Act 2017, Local Safeguarding Children Boards are currently being phased out and replaced by safeguarding partners (police, health and local authority). There is no requirement to have an independent chair of the new arrangements, which must be in place by September 2019.</p><p> </p> more like this
