Executive Agencies. Each body assesses prospective suppliers’ ability to deliver its
obligations during each procurement exercise before the award of contracts. This to

competence and capability. Before contracts are signed there are various layers of
governance across the ALBs, the Department, Cabinet Office and HM Treasury depending
on the circumstances of each procurement. There are also measures in place to monitor
financial stability throughout the procurement lifecycle.</p>
