	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/09/2023 answer text <p>The UK local and regional greenhouse gas emissions national statistics, 2005 to 2021 set out emissions data at the local authority level.</p><p> </p><p>The Greening Government Commitments (GGCs) set out actions to reduce the environmental impact of the Government’s estate and operations, which includes mitigating climate change. In financial year 2020/21, the government reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 57% from the baseline year of 2009/10, exceeding the 43% target. This follows a 50% reduction from the baseline year in financial year 2019/20.
