FCDO Travel Advice for Afghanistan states that only very limited medical facilities are available in Afghanistan and makes clear that consular assistance can only be provided remotely and is extremely limited. British nationals in Afghanistan can continue to access 24 hour consular assistance by phone. We continue to work to ensure that the families of British nationals with entry clearance and those eligible for resettlement through the Afghanistan Relocations and Assistance Policy (ARAP) and Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme (ACRS), are able to come to the UK. The UK is providing £286 million of humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan in 2022/23 and, together with our international allies, we are working to hold the Taliban to their commitments on human rights and safe passage for those wishing to leave the country. Whilst we have not received any official requests for assistance at this stage, we do have multi-year humanitarian programmes in both countries which could be drawn upon if needed. <br> <br> In Afghanistan, DFID is providing up to £80 million of humanitarian support over 2015-2019, including through the UN-led Common Humanitarian Fund and the International Committee of the Red Cross. In Pakistan, our multi-year humanitarian programme could provide up to £100 million over 2014-2018 for immediate relief and early recovery, depending on the extent of emergencies which occur. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/10/2023 answer text <p>I do not intend to remove Regulations 9 and 10 of the National Emissions Ceilings Regulations (NECR), which require preparation of and consultation on a National Air Pollution Control Programme (NAPCP), from schedule 1 of the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Act 2023.</p><p> </p><p>The NAPCP format is long, complicated and duplicative, and does nothing to improve the quality of the air we breathe. Of those who expressed an opinion when we consulted on the NAPCP last year, a majority agreed that the format could be improved, with a consensus that it was too lengthy and technical.
