The Government has worked with the sector, and commissioned further market analysis to assess the impact on the sector nationally, however this forms part of the evidence base that is being used to assess options and is subject to further analysis and refinement.</p><p>The Government recognises the pressures these liabilities are placing on providers of social care. We are exploring options to minimise any impact on the sector.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The updated National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare and National Health Service-funded Nursing Care was published on 1 March 2018, and will be implemented on 1 October 2018. The current National Framework, published in November 2012, will continue to be in place until that time.</p><p> </p><p>This revised 2018 National Framework follows an extensive period of external engagement with stakeholders, across the NHS, local authorities, and patient representative groups. The 2018 National Framework has been collaboratively written by the Department, NHS England and local authorities.</p><p> </p><p>The update incorporates a new structure that is intended to provide clarity, reflect legislative changes such as the Care Act 2014, and includes minor clarifications on policy areas. Importantly, none of the 2018 amendments and clarifications to the National Framework are intended to change the eligibility criteria for NHS Continuing Healthcare.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Department has been informed by NHS England that NHS England and the University of Bristol decided that the Annual Report of the Learning Disabilities Mortality Review Programme should be published on Friday 4 May 2018, which was the earliest date following the local government elections.</p><p> </p><p>The Department was not involved in the decision to publish the Annual Report of the Learning Disabilities Mortality Review programme on 4 May. The Department was informally notified of the intended publication by NHS England on Thursday 3 May 2018 and sent a copy of the report on that day.</p> more like this
