We strongly condemn the recent attempted assassination of Prime Minister Hamdallah on 13 March, for which there is no justification. The UK continues to support the return of the legitimate Palestinian Authority to Gaza. The Prime Minister made this point when she spoke to King Salman of Saudi Arabia on 24 October.</p><p>The UK has made clear that Saudi Arabia must cooperate with Turkey and conduct a full and credible investigation.
