star this property answer text <p>The firearm was found to be a starting pistol, however it is unclear whether it could be modified to achieve functionality. As stated in the answer of 6 September, no ammunition was found with the firearm.</p><p> </p><p>It has not yet been discovered how the pistol was conveyed into the prison. In the immediate aftermath of the intelligence-led discovery of the weapon, specially trained Dedicated Search Teams were used to search areas of the prison. An investigation was commissioned by the Prison Group Director to establish how the pistol may have been conveyed into the prison and the Security, Order and Counter Terrorism Directorate supported the prison in assessing vulnerabilities and mitigating risks.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Home Office has published extensive guidance for employers on how to conduct a check to establish whether an individual has a right to work. A list of acceptable documents which enable an individual to demonstrate they have the right work is set out in the Employers Guide to Right to Work Checks:</p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/right-to-work-checks-employers-guide" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/right-to-work-checks-employers-guide</a>.</p><p>We keep our guidance under regular review and will consider whether there is more we can do to provide advice to employers on this matter.</p><p>My officials are also in regular dialogue with their counterparts in the Department for Work and Pensions, which has the lead on National Insurance Number policy.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Obtaining the necessary information to answer the questions asked on 7<sup>th</sup> October 2020, involves accessing the Police National Computer (PNC). This system can only be accessed via a fixed location in our offices. Although PNC access re-started after the first lockdown in March, work to catch up the data loading needs to be completed before these questions can be answered. Currently there is reduced capacity to do this due to the current national lockdown. I will write to the Hon Member with the information requested when this data is available and will place a copy of my letter in the Library of the House.</p> more like this
