The FSA oversees risk-based controls to ensure food is safe, and regularly assesses safety data on radiation levels to ensure UK consumers are protected. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/07/2019 answer text <p>The Government is committed to continuing to raise literacy standards and ensuring all children can read fluently and with understanding.</p><p>Ofsted’s inspection framework, published in May 2019, puts a greater focus on how well schools are teaching their pupils to read: inspectors listen to children reading aloud, watch phonics classes and check how schools help weaker readers to improve.</p><p>In addition, the Department have launched a £26.3 million English Hubs Programme. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/07/2019 answer text <p>A new curriculum was introduced in 2014. Tests reflecting that curriculum were introduced in 2016. Since then the time allowed for the Key Stage 2 reading assessment has not changed. The test framework for the English reading test places a limit on the number of words that can be included in the texts and this limit has not been breached.</p><p>Assessments go through a rigorous test development process lasting three years. This will continue to be the case whether we leave the EU with or without a deal.</p><p> </p><p>Defra Ministers and officials meet regularly with the food industry to understand the potential impacts of leaving with no deal at the end of October and support contingency planning by the industry. This includes working with Defra’s long established Food Chain Emergency Liaison Group (FCELG). 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/08/2019 answer text <p>In the event of the UK leaving the EU without a deal, we are confident that schools will continue to be able to provide pupils with nutritious school meals. The UK has a high level of food security built upon a diverse range of sources including strong domestic production and imports from other countries. This will continue to be the case whether we leave the EU with or without a deal. The government is working in partnership with food suppliers to ensure there continues to be a flow of food into the country.</p><p> </p><p>We would still expect schools to meet the School Food Standards in a no-deal scenario. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/09/2019 answer text <p>The Government is committed to supporting people with neurodevelopmental conditions to live well.</p><p>We are currently reviewing the adult autism strategy and, working with the Department for Education, will be extending the scope of the strategy to include children. The refreshed strategy will be published by the end of the year.</p><p>We are also working closely with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and their Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Implementation Working Group to look at how the current NICE guidance and quality standard on ADHD are being implemented.
