I welcome the release of the report by the Coalition’s Joint Incidents Assessment Team into the incident. This will be used to contribute to our overall view on the approach and attitude of Saudi Arabia to international humanitarian law.</p> more like this

Our opposition to the demolition of Palestinian property and the evictions of Palestinians from their homes is long-standing. The practice causes unnecessary suffering to Palestinians and is harmful to efforts to promote peace. The Minister for the Middle East, Lord (Tariq) Ahmad of Wimbledon reinforced this message during a visit to a UK donor funded school facing demolition on 12 January.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Under consumer law, consumers may be entitled to a refund within 14 days, depending on the nature of the contract in place. Where payments were made using a credit card, redress can be sought from the credit card company. Some businesses are also offering consumers alternative arrangements, which individuals are able to choose should they wish. The Government is engaging continually with business and consumer advocacy bodies to assess the impact of cancellations made in the light of the Covid-19 outbreak.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Government is committed to helping low income and vulnerable households to sufficiently heat their homes, recognising the impact cold homes can have on people’s health.</p><p> </p><p>Energy efficiency is the best long-term solution to tackling fuel poverty. The Government is driving energy efficiency improvements through a number of schemes, including the Energy Company Obligation and the Home Upgrade Grant. Since the Energy Company Obligation Scheme began in 2013, Warwickshire has received 21,746 energy efficiency measures (Headline Energy Efficiency Statistics, Table 3.4).[1]</p><p> </p><p>Additional support is available to eligible households through the Warm Home Discount, the Cold Weather Payment and the Winter Fuel Payment. star this property answer text <p>The Environment Agency (EA) undertakes an assessment of groundwater resources as part of the six year cycle of River Basin Management Planning process. Groundwater bodies need to meet the four quantitative tests that aim to protect surface water flows, groundwater levels, spring discharges and water quality. The assessment also includes a groundwater balance with consideration to amount of recharge, how much is needed to support rivers and the impact from groundwater abstraction. The EA has been assessing groundwater bodies in this way since 2009 and the last reported assessment was carried out in 2019.</p><p> </p><p>Assessment shows groundwater abstraction in 73% of groundwater bodies is sustainable and there is enough water to protect the environment, providing good support to fish and other aquatic life.</p><p> </p> more like this
