star this property answer text <p>The Home Office does not hold this information centrally.</p><p>The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986 lay down certain requirements that all vehicles have to meet strict emission standards and be constructed and maintained so as not to emit any avoidable smoke. It also governs the amount of light that must pass through the windows of a vehicle and therefore how clearly the windows can be seen through.</p><p>It is for the police to take enforcement action as they consider appropriate against those in breach of the Regulations.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>To support the design and delivery of the Lifelong Loan Entitlement (LLE) from 2025, the department will continue to engage with sector bodies across both further education and higher education, as well as the Student Loans Company and regulatory bodies.</p><p>On admissions, the department is continuing to work with UCAS and sector bodies to improve transparency, reduce the use of unconditional offers, and reform the personal statement to improve fairness for applicants of all backgrounds.</p><p>The LLE consultation and other ongoing engagements are an important part of delivering a transformation of student finance. The department is carefully considering the contributions and will publish a response in due course.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>In the 2017 Clean Growth Strategy the government committed to phasing out the installation of high carbon fossil fuel heating systems in buildings off the gas grid during the 2020s. As we develop policy to deliver this commitment we are engaging with industry to consider how we can best ensure that oil boilers are replaced with low carbon heating systems, rather than being repaired endlessly, so that we can meet our net zero obligations. We are considering the extent to which Building Regulations can help drive this change and we will consult on proposals for decarbonising off gas grid buildings in due course.</p> more like this
