It made a series of recommendations designed to support transformation of the NHS estate. The Review did not identify surplus land, nor recommend the sale of specific sites. It is for NHS land owners to determine which are surplus to requirements and to make them available for disposal. NHS land owners contribute to sustainability and transformation partnerships (STP) estates strategies which consider the nature of the estate that is required across an STP to deliver clinical strategy and meet patient needs.</p><p>The NHS Surplus Land Annual Data Collection collects data on land owned by NHS trusts and foundation trusts which has been declared surplus and planned for future disposal. Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust reported only one planned disposal in the 2017-18 collection. For 2018/19 we have provided Wirral Council with £113,154, an increase of 8.5% on their 2017/18 funding of £104,331.</p><p> </p><p>We do not hold data on additional costs for other agencies. However, we are working closely with many advice agencies and we continue to listen and respond to their concerns and implement changes through the design and development of Universal Credit.
