	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/09/2019 answer text <p>When the UK leaves the EU, the UK will no longer be part of the EU regulatory framework for veterinary medicines. The UK Government, through the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD), will take on those functions which are currently carried out for the UK by the EU.
