unstar this property answer text
On March 7 the Government published a refreshed Cross-Government Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Strategy providing an update on existing actions, and outlining additional actions to ensure that all Government departments are tackling VAWG. The refresh includes the wealth of insights gained from the domestic abuse consultation to ensure that all aspects of domestic abuse are considered across departments.
The domestic abuse consultation response committed to review our communications activity to ensure that we are providing relevant information to the public outlining clearly what domestic abuse is, and what options they have if they are a victim or are concerned about someone else who is a victim.

Over this spending review period we are providing £100 million of dedicated funding, including a £17 million VAWG Service Transformation Fund to 41 projects across England and Wales that support local areas to work collaboratively with specialist third sector organisations and develop best practice on early intervention and prevention, not just crisis response.
