We have published our Export Strategy which sets out the support we provide to companies and investors through our network of international trade advisers, sector specialists, and the export support service.</p><p>Ministers and officials meet European partners to promote trade and investment opportunities, remove barriers to trade and support UK businesses. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/07/2019 answer text <p>The Government has consulted with Members from all sides of the House on a range of issues relating to the UK’s withdrawal from, and future relationship with the EU.</p><p>If the UK leaves the EU without a deal, the UK would implement a temporary tariff regime that takes a balanced approach to support the UK economy as a whole. It will maintain open trade on the majority of UK imports, to support consumers and business supply chains, but retain necessary tariff protection for particular sectors of the UK economy. This would apply for up to 12 months while a full consultation, and review on a permanent approach, is undertaken.</p><p>As a responsible government we’ve been preparing to minimise any disruption in the event of no deal for over three years. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/01/2019 answer text <p>The Government works actively to support trade and reduce barriers in all three countries, including through our overseas network and HM Trade Commissioners, through ministerial visits and bilateral working groups, and through the broad support this Department provides both to UK companies exporting to these countries and to those overseas companies wishing to invest in the UK. This work is intensifying as we leave the EU.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, the Government is preparing for an ambitious programme of trade negotiations and enhanced market access, including potentially opening formal negotiations for new free trade agreements with the United States and Australia. We have completed 14-week long public consultations on these potential future trade agreement negotiations. We are also building stronger relationships with large economies through a series of Joint Trade Reviews.
