unstar this property answer text <p>The UK Government does not hold this information and is a matter for the Northern Ireland Civil Service.</p><p>However, we are committed to combatting fraud through prevention, detection and taking action against those who commit it.</p><p>The Cabinet Office worked with HM Treasury to launch the Public Sector Fraud Authority (PSFA) in August 2022. The PSFA is the government’s centre of expertise and works with ministerial departments and public bodies to understand and reduce the impact of public sector fraud. The PSFA provides counter fraud data analytics capability through the National Fraud Initiative (NFI) to public bodies including those in Northern Ireland. Between 1 April 2020 and 31 March 2022, the NFI achieved £4.4 million of counter fraud savings through the prevention or recovery of fraud in Northern Ireland.</p><p>The Rt Hon. Jeremy Quin MP, Minister for the Cabinet Office and HM Paymaster General, has not had any meetings on the subject of fraudulent or incorrect payments paid out by public bodies with the Department of Finance in Northern Ireland.</p><p> </p>

unstar this property answer text <p>The Government recognises the cost-of-living challenges many disabled people are facing.</p><p> </p><p>Last winter, the Government launched a package of support for households and businesses, spending £40 billion and paying around half a typical household’s energy bill last winter.</p><p> </p><p>Since last winter, the Q4 2023 price cap of £1,834 has more than halved compared to the Q1 2023 price cap which stood at a high of £4,279. This is good news for households who have seen their energy bills come down. The Energy Price Guarantee will remain in place as a safety net until the end of March 2024, should energy prices increase significantly during this period.</p><p> </p><p>Additionally, the Government is providing further cost of living support to vulnerable households, including a £900 payment for those on means-tested benefits and an extra £150 for people on an eligible disability benefit.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>Most National Health Service staff on national contracts who necessarily incur charges in the performance of their duties, in relation to parking, garage costs, tolls and ferries shall be refunded these expenses on production of receipts, whenever these are available.</p><p>Most care workers are employed by private sector providers who set their pay and terms and conditions, independent of central government. Local authorities work with care providers to determine fee rates, which should take account of wage costs, based on local market conditions. Local authorities should assure themselves that providers are sufficiently remunerating staff to retain an effective workforce.</p><p>The Government has now made available up to £8.1 billion in additional funding over two years to support adult social care and discharge.</p> more like this

These set out recommendations and quality standards for clinicians on the care for patients with IBS by promoting effective management using dietary and lifestyle advice, pharmacological therapy and referral for psychological interventions.</p><p>To assist with increasing the visibility of its guidance, NICE promotes its guidance via its website, newsletters and other media. It also publishes information for the public, which explains the care people with IBS should receive as set out in the NICE guideline.</p>
