	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/10/2014 answer text <p>The Department does not hold information on when individual wind turbines were constructed and installed, nor on repair and maintenance of wind farm developments.</p><p>It does however hold records of wind farm developments becoming fully operational and the number of turbines associated with those developments. Ensuring that banks provide appropriate redress for their customers is a matter for the independent regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) </strong></p><p><strong>The Government is supportive of action taken by the FCA to recompense customers for the mis-selling of payment protection insurance (PPI) and prevent cases of mis-selling in the future through regulatory action. The FCA has stated that it is keeping a close eye on how the industry handles all PPI complaints and will be quick to challenge anything it thinks is unfair.</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>I have asked the FCA to write to the Member in more detail about action being taken in regard to PPI. The Money Advice Service has been set up by Government to promote understanding of the financial system and raise levels of financial capability across the UK. The Support for Mortgage Interest scheme helps pensioners and those out of work to meet their mortgage payments. Consumer credit regulation transferred from the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) on 1 April 2014, this new, more robust regulatory system provides far stronger consumer protections and will help deliver the Government’s vision for a well-functioning and sustainable credit market.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Government has ensured that the FCA has robust powers to curb credit fees and charges. The FCA has also committed to undertake a thorough review of the credit card market to assess whether competition is effective and whether consumers have access to credit cards that are affordable and deliver value for money. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/10/2014 answer text <p>HM Treasury does not hold information relating to the value of assets overseas that have been sold by RBS.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>HM Treasury does not directly receive proceeds from the disposal of RBS assets, rather it retains value through its shareholdings in the company.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>RBS is run on a fully commercial basis, at arm’s length from HM Treasury. It retains its own board of directors who are responsible for the commercial decisions of RBS.
